Tim de Paravicini began working with studio equipment in 1965 and spent time in Japan working for Lux Corporation in 1972, where he designed iconic units like the C1000/M6000 and 3045. Founding EAR (1976): Based in England, the company's first product was the EAR 509 100-watt valve monoblock power amplifier, which is still in production today. Philosophy: EAR focuses on building durable products with high-level design care, covering both professional studio equipment (mastering/recording) and home audio. Ranging from studio recording equipment that captures the sound, through to recreating that sound in your living room.
